Father Augustus Muller was born in Germany in 1841 and was a fully qualified Homeopath before becoming a Jesuit priest. He was a member of the first batch of Jesuit priests to go to Mangalore in India in 1878. (As a coincidence, one of his grandparents was a schoolteacher who taught Samuel Hahnemann when he was at school.) When in India he treated his college students Homoeopathically and started a dispensary and clinic for the poor of the district. This clinic is now a 1000 bed hospital and a medical college. This book consists of an introduction to the tissue remedies, a Materia Medica, a therapeutic index of many ailments and a repertory of the tissue salts.
