George Heinrich Gottlieb Jahr (1800-1875) became interested in Homeopathy after being cured of a recurring illness by one of Hahnemann’s pupils and worked with Hahnemann from 1825 on the ‘Materia Medica Pura’ and the ‘Chronic Diseases’. He followed Hahnemann to Paris in 1835 and continued his writing career as well as his Homeopathy clinic. He was a prodigious writer and has over 250 published works to his credit. This book was first published in English in 1856 and is well set out and written in a style that is easy to read and understand. Dr. Jahr covers subjects such as: - menstruation abnormalities (dysmenorrhoea, amenorrhoea, irregular bleeding etc), metrorrhagia, leucorrhoea, uterine displacements and cramps, lesions, endometritis, fibroids, cancer of the womb, ulcerations, vaginitis, affections of the breasts and nipples, pregnancy, miscarriage, difficult labour, lactation, new born babies etc etc. A handy book for practitioners.
