Dr. William Jefferson Guernsey was a Homeopathic practitioner in Philadelphia during the latter part of the 1800’s. He wrote many books on Homeopathy, this being his ninth, and was published in 1892. It is devoted to the Homeopathic treatment of piles and gives a Materia Medica of 135 remedies with their indications for the treatment of haemorrhoids. It also contains a specific repertory containing all rubrics relating to his ailment.
