Dr. Allen Corson Cowperthwaite Ph.D was known throughout America as a highly skilled practitioner and lecturer of Homeopathic subjects. He was taught by Hering and received his degree in 1869. His many accomplishments include: - Organiser of the Nebraska State Homœopathic Medical Society, Chair of Materia Medica and also the Office of Dean for the State University of Iowa, Professor of Materia Medica and Therapeutics for the Chicago Homœopathic Medical College, as well as holding responsible positions in various Homeopathic organisations and being the author of several books that have come to be considered "standards". This particular book is a detailed Materia Medica of about 300 remedies giving us a general analysis, the characteristic symptoms for each part of the body, and the therapeutic indications for each of them.
