This book of Dr. Banerjea’s contains lucid descriptions of the mental pictures of 16 of the polychrests using mnemonics, descriptions of 30 remedies relating their guiding symptoms – again using mnemonics, the peculiar and uncommon symptoms of 48 remedies, the physiological actions of 30 remedies, a comparative Materia Medica comparing indicated remedies for such conditions as: - diarrhoea, pain, intermittent fever, children, heart, abscesses, paralysis – etc. It also contains a tabulated Materia Medica comparing specific remedies, a section for general modalities in tabulated form and a section dealing with the relationship of remedies. Dr. Banerjea has succeeded in his objective “--- to imprint the drug pictures on the faculty of intuition on a more comprehensible fashion”.
