This collection has been edited by Dr. Rajan Sankaran. For Rajan these writings on homoeopathy by his father gave him a bird’s eye view of the entire subject, it is the entire edifice on which he learnt his craft. The book includes most of the papers presented by Dr. P. Sankaran at various seminars and conferences. His commentary on a particular subject is demonstrated by convincing case records from his practice. One of the chapters, "Random Notes on some Remedies" testifies to his keen observation and meticulous record-keeping. He was always like a hunter, in search of a remedy’s special action and its unknown clinical applications. One of the subjects that he wrote about was the evaluation of symptoms, and his contribution here should be very useful to both students as well as practitioners.
